Like 20 million other LinkedIn members these last few days, I received the infographic to share about how my profile is up there in the top 10% that get a lot of views. If you've received one of these, then you're probably a reasonably active user of LinkedIn, like me. Either that, or you get headhunted a lot, like me.
Clearly, this tactic has created quite a bit of buzz. But, as Kelly Clay at hasoffers points out, this clever email campaign is designed to drum up a bit more business using LinkedIn's USP (unique selling point) - the capability to see who else on LinkedIn has looked at your profile.
All you have to do - is to upgrade to Premium membership to ... “Proactively manage inbound queries and interest in your profile.”
